Abstract:In the west, the study on the tourism landscape and its evaluation has developed from objective to subjective, from macro scope to micro scope, from the superficial to the connotation, and from the morphology to the function. In the urban tourism area, different tourists and citizen may develop different cognitive structure on the base of the meaning of the spaces they experienced to themselves, and thus they can form the cognitive structure of tourism landscape. There are two research streams about the cognitive evaluation of tourism landscape in our country nowadays. One is the aesthetic appraise which Yu kongjian is a representative scholar, based on the perspective of the landscape resources. And the other is the cognitive evaluation about the tourism landscape that the typical spokesman is Wang Xinghzong, based on the cognition of the tourists from the space perspective. The latter emphasizes particularly on the research of the constitution of the tourism cognitive landscape.
Xi'an urban tourism area is the center landscape of middle reaches of Huanghe River in China, and at the same time, Xi'an is one of the most famous city with long history at home and abroad. It has advantaged human tourism resources and natural tourism resources, so its typicality and representativeness is very clear and is worth studying. Taking Xi'an city as an example, This paper studies the perception landscape structure of Xi'an city and draws a conclusion that the center cities of perception landscape structure of the urban tourism area is Xi'an and Xianyang, and meanwhile Baoji, Tongchuan and Weinan are in the secondary sector of spatial distribution. They form a fan-shaped spatial structure. And this kind of spatial structure forms three different perception landscape areas: high mountain natural scene of North Qingling Mountain, imperially mausoleum historic site of North Weihe River and cultural relic of the valley of Weihe River. These three kinds of perception landscapes contain its whole artistic conception of landscapes-original culture of Huaxia. At the end of this paper, the author suggests that the spatial allocation of the landscape items should be paid attention to, and points out that the landscape structure and its spatial distribution of Xi'an urban tourism area should be based on natural resources formed by natural and human tourism resources. In addition, the form of the landscape distribution should be paid much attention to meeting the perception requirements of tourists.
